Celebrating the wedding of Kenny and Hannah amidst the enchanting beauty of Bella Terra Vineyards in Paso Robles was nothing short of a magical experience. These two beautiful souls exchanged wedding vows in one of Paso Robles’ most stunning garden wedding venues, creating lasting memories against the picturesque backdrop of the region’s wine country. As a Paso Robles wedding photographer I was thrilled to have another wedding at one of my new favorite wedding venues, Bella Terra Vineyards.

Nestled in the heart of Paso Robles wine country, Bella Terra Vineyards stands as a picturesque haven for wine enthusiasts and, as I recently discovered, a dreamy backdrop for couples celebrating their love. As a wedding photographer based in the charming California town of Paso Robles, I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing countless love stories unfold against the stunning vineyard vistas of Paso Robles wine country.

A Unique Garden Outdoor Venue: Bella Terra Vineyards Wedding

Situated in the heart of Paso Robles wine country, Bella Terra Vineyards, a sister venue to the beloved Terra Mia Vineyards, provided a captivating setting for this joyous occasion. Surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, the venue features a tranquil garden with a white-washed covered equestrian barn, a five-bedroom mansion for preparations, and expansive lawns adorned with romantic string lights.

The rustic bridge where Kenny and Hannah exchanged vows and the wisteria-covered arbor for dancing under the night sky added a touch of simple garden whimsy to the vineyard charm, making Bella Terra the ideal locale for a romantic and fun wedding day.

From the moment you step onto the property, it’s clear that Bella Terra Vineyards is a place where the magic of weddings truly comes to life. The sprawling vineyards create a natural tapestry of green, dotted with ripe, luscious grapes – a sight that never fails to mesmerize me. The carefully manicured rows of vines seem to stretch endlessly, providing a romantic and rustic setting that’s perfect for capturing the most precious moments. It’s a more than ideal place for a wedding photographer with a “light and airy” style like mine.

Getting Ready Moments

As anticipation built, the bride and groom prepared in separate enchanting rooms within the Bella Terra Manor house. The ideal bridal suite with perfect lighting allowed for stylized flat lays and lively portraits, capturing the essence of these precious moments. A second photographer ensured multiple perspectives, documenting the groomsmen and bridesmaids enjoying fun and camaraderie.

Hannah added a personal touch by crafting custom brightly colored pajamas for her bridesmaids, complete with individualized initials and matching feather trim. Meanwhile, Kenny and his groomsmen engaged in playful games and posed for delightful photos, setting the celebratory tone for the occasion.

Whimsical Green and White Wedding Decor

Against the stunning backdrop of Bella Terra, the wedding decor exuded simple yet chic elegance. Delicate white florals with touches of grey and blue adorned the venue. The wedding party, dressed in varying shades of green-blue, grey, and teal, created a harmonious visual ensemble. Bridesmaids celebrated their unique styles in mismatched dresses, while groomsmen exuded sophistication in light grey attire. Kenny, with his heirloom pocket watch, camel leather shoes, and floral boutonnière, added timeless charm to the proceedings.

Hannah, the radiant bride, stole the show in her breathtaking dress adorned with delicate lace florals. Despite the windy weather, her long honey-colored hair danced in the breeze during their vows, capturing the essence of romance and love. The sunlight highlighted the cherry and gold hues of her bouquet, making her glow with the undeniable happiness of a bride deeply in love.

Reflecting on Kenny and Hannah’s wedding day at Bella Terra evokes warmth and joy, a testament to the beauty of love celebrated in a truly enchanting Paso Robles wedding day.

COCKTAIL HOUR AND TAKING PHOTOS WITH THE ONES YOU LOVE

After the ceremony, we took family and wedding party formal photos in the gardens and on the bridge, followed by romantic and whimsical couple’s photos around the venue and underneath the willow trees. Kenny and Hannah are so cute together- it doesn’t take much to get them laughing together, snuggling, joking, being their natural funny and playful selves. Taking their photos was super easy because all I had to do was step back and be a witness to their amazing love and brightly aligned spirits that just belong together. They make each other glow.

SUNSET PHOTOS IN THE VINEYARDS

One of my favorite aspects of shooting at Bella Terra is the golden hour glow that bathes the vineyards in a warm, ethereal light. Whether it’s the couple stealing a quiet moment during cocktail hour or dancing under the stars, the soft, natural light adds a touch of magic to every frame. The vine-covered archways and charming wooden barrels scattered throughout the property provide endless opportunities for creative and romantic shots.

They had coordination with Casey of Blush and Twine designs- she is a petite powerhouse of a planner and it was just so impressive watching her execute everything to looked staged and perfect within just a few hours. The decor was soft, classic, and natural with a an effortless chic feel to it, from the white and teal table linens to the delicate white florals and greens, to the wooden farmhouse tables and white walls of the barn. My favorite touch were their wedding favors, which were custom playing cards made using one of their engagement photos turned art! They also had an adorable escort card wall that was made from little hanging seed packets, which each guest got to take with them. Once the candles lit, the ambiance was truly intimate and magical and full of so much love. 

THE WEDDING RECEPTION

They did a coordinated grand entrance with each couple really showing their best dance moves and the excitement and energy was just through the roof, and the cozy warmth of Bella Terra’s equestrian barn, covered from any potential rain, made for an intimate and comfortable dinner experience. Getting married in the spring is a wonderful season but it can run cold so having a covered reception that is both indoor and out is such a nice compromise to a completely indoor venue.

I love wedding receptions because of how amazing it is to see two wonderful people celebrated by their families and surrounded by so much love and support on this amazing day of their lives. Their families gave beautiful toats that had everyone crying happy tears, they danced with their parents and their loved ones, they had amazing drinks served by Bottles and Ice, and the Ribline made sure everyone was so stuffed on some delicious homestyle cooking! Kenny and Hannah are so loved and it’s clear why. They are such fun, sweet, funny, amazing people and I am just so glad I got to be a part of capturing their day.
