A Whimsical Forest Engagement in San Luis Obispo
This session with Kaelyn and Brian was a dream come true. They started their shoot at Los Osos Oaks Reserve, one of my favorite hidden gems on the Central Coast. With its twisted oak trees, mossy branches, and lush green canopy, it truly feels like a secret fairytale forest. As someone who’s lived in Los Osos for years, I can tell you there’s no other place like it.
For the second half of the session, we made our way to Montaña de Oro State Park, a breathtaking stretch of coastline with cliffs, beaches, and endless views. It’s a world-renowned California state park, and it’s easy to see why—this peaceful, uncrowded destination is one of the best places for dreamy, romantic photos on the beach.
Kaelyn brought along several amazing outfits, and we had so much fun twirling through the trees, popping champagne, and embracing the natural beauty of the coast. It was a session full of laughter, adventure, and spontaneous moments—everything an engagement session should be.
