How the Bride and Groom Met at Summer Camp

OK, SUPER CUTE STORY TIME! Melissa And Nico first met at summer camp when they were barely teenagers and at that time Nico was like 5’1 and Melissa was like 5’8 and while he might’ve had a crush on her, she was already a superb Mega-babe and Nico was taking a little bit longer to grow into his own hotness. You could say he was channeling some serious comic store vibes. After a summer of pining away for her he went home thinking- wow that is the girl of my dreams…. I will love her all my life.

Fast forward some years later and they happen to reconnect through the Internet!!- and now Nico is 6’3 and looks like a GQ model. Melissa took one look and fell for the boy, now a man, that had loved her all along. It’s such a cute story… ! they fell madly in love and lived happily ever after!!! …. but of course, first they had an epic and amazing wedding!

Their Wedding Had Luxury Style with Relaxed Elegance

The warm ochre toned European style courtyard at Cali Paso Winery was the perfect setting for them to have their super whimsical and joyful wedding day and elegant wedding reception with all their closest friends and family, surrounded by vineyards on all sides and the most incredible sunset that you have ever dreamed about. It truly was a modern fairytale wedding day in every single way. Cali Paso Winery is by far one of the top wedding venues on the CA Central Coast because of how beautiful and elegant it is, not to mention the food and staff are amazing.

Guests Loved the Personal Touches and Amazing Food

Their wedding was in the fall, which is my favorite time of year for weddings in Paso Robles, because the colors are just so warm and lush and beautiful, and we have the long summer nights to look forward to and dance the night away. Cali Paso Winery has a lot of warm tones in the venue walls, very reminiscent of Tuscany, and I love the combination of the blood red flowers, the silver and gold decor, and the gorgeous arrangements done by one of my friends, Muana Florist, in combination with the warmth of the venue. The plates and candlesticks that Melissa chose are just absolutely stunning as well and the entire scene, brought together by Jessica Lee Events, was really a feast for your eyes.

Paso Robles Vineyards Have the Most Beautiful Sunsets

We got so lucky with the sunset this day… we all jumped in my car and we drove just a short way down the road to an open vineyard where the sky absolutely lit up like a giant pink cotton candy ball of goodness. It’s hard to describe how romantic, intimate and beautiful these moments were capturing Melissa And Nico together on one of the best days of their lives, savoring the moment and taking it all in.
