With overflowing flowers, a sparkling, swimming, pool, and views, as far as your eyes can see of the vineyards from their ceremony site, it’s a splendid location for an intimate wedding or a luxury wedding with all your friends and family. You can host from large weddings to small and the dance floor is one of the most popping of any venue in San Luis Obispo.
Having my bachelors degree and cultural anthropology makes me especially in love with photographing weddings that have traditional elements like Persian, Southeast Asian, or Indian weddings. I love it when couples bring their personal culture into their wedding day and it’s a dream to photograph something that’s beautiful as a Persian Sofreh. When I shot Nillie’s and Ehab’s Persian wedding in San Luis Obispo, I had never seen a sofreh before, and I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful and ornate they are. They’re really are no words to the level of care and love that goes into creating these for couples. It was such a treat to capture all of their ceremonial traditions like the feeding of honey and placing the veil above the couple’s heads during their Persian wedding ceremony, and of course the belly dancer during the reception was a wonderful surprise.
The Casitas estate is the perfect venue for a luxurious wedding, like this, with a gorgeous, huge garden space at the top of the hill, for the wedding reception overlooking the hills as far as Edna Valley. Guest dined in the lap of luxury, with beautiful, bright, pink floral, centerpieces and gold elements in the chairs and on the incredible gold leaf wedding cake. The couple reclined for a romantic photo in their seating area at their cocktail hour that was set up for guests to take a break from their high heels and just enjoy all the splendor. They had so many cute, personal touches like vintage books, and little gold table and even lamps. If you’re looking for ideas for a colorful whimsical and incredibly romantic wedding day, look no further.
