A UNIQUE AND SUPER FUN ENGAGEMENT THAT WAS ALL ABOUT THEM
Have a saber and a bottle of champagne? Are you hiding a super special secret talent- turns out Natalie is amazing at opening a champagne bottle with a sword. This was just one of the super fun moments captured during Natalie and Scotty’s engagement session at the beautiful Hearst Ranch Winery in Paso Robles. It doesn’t get more romantic than the way Scotty looks at Natalie. Pair that with an amazing sunset over golden fields and magic was made.
BOHO STYLE DRESSES ARE PERFECTLY PLAYFUL
Natalie wore a few different boho style engagement dresses (one from For Love and Lemons- such a great dress designer!) three short and one lovely long yellow dress that really complimented the natural light and colors of the sunset. Its’s always a great idea to bring lots of clothing options for both partners to change into and have different looks for each location.
MORE THEN ONE LOCATION ADDS TO THE ADVENTURE
I love to have a least three unique spots for pictures during an engagement session to give variety and add to the adventure. They took romantic photos at the San Miguel Mission to start- one of the coolest California missions and so unique for engaged couple’s to use for their pictures with amazing whitewashed terra-cotta and adobe walls and a garden full of cacti and succulents. We spent a few hours together and it was so fun to get to know them- Scotty grew up at Hearst ranch and that was a very special location for them both, so we went there next.
THEY ARE REALLY COOL TOGETHER
Scotty brought his hot red vintage sports-car car for adorable and classic engagement pictures inside of it, totally channeling a timeless image of vintage photo sessions from the 50’s. They climbed up on metal wine silos at Hearst Ranch and caught a gorgeous view and really unique perspectives. Then they ran around holding hands through the incredible old oak trees that grow in north Paso Robles- and finally walked through the vineyards as the sun set and the world turned golden. They are both really creative and have cool personalities and it was really clear that’s what brought them together so perfectly.
GET CREATIVE AND SHARE YOUR UNIQUE PERSONALITIES
As the sun went down Natalie chopped open the champagne using a huge saber and they toasted each other and laughed. The word for their engagement session is FUN. So much playful and whimsical true laughter and real romance. Not only are their photos gorgeous but it was a great experience as well and a wonderful memory that showed at ton about who they are as a couple and individually. See all the cuteness here!
