Some weddings just feel like home—comfortable, joyful, filled with heart—and that’s exactly how it felt celebrating Ashley and Greg’s wedding at Terra Mia Vineyard in Paso Robles. I hope you enjoy these moments from a real Terra Mia wedding, especially of you are thinking of getting married there yourself!
It was one of those golden California summer days, warm and bright, with light streaming through the vines and laughter echoing across the hills. Ashley and Greg are two of the kindest, most down-to-earth people I’ve had the honor of working with. Both of them work in emergency medical services, spending their days helping others as first responders on ambulances. And as someone who also worked on an ambulance before becoming a photographer, I connected with them right away. I understood the bond they share with their crew, the long shifts, the gallows humor, and the fierce friendships that come from working in that kind of high-stress, high-heartbeat environment.
They didn’t want a wedding that felt stiff or overly styled. Their only goal? A relaxed, beautiful celebration with their favorite people, amazing food, and an unforgettable dance party—and this Terra Mia wedding delivered all of that and more.

Simple, Natural, and Totally Theirs: A Real Terra Mia Wedding
Ashley and Greg chose a decor style that honored the natural beauty of Terra Mia’s vineyard setting. Think neutral tones, warm textures, and greenery that blended effortlessly with the landscape. The vibe was relaxed and joyful, like a long summer dinner party with friends and family who truly love each other.
Speaking of unforgettable: Ashley’s coordinated father-daughter dance was legendary. It was funny, sweet, and choreographed to perfection—and the internet agreed. The video I posted of it went viral with over 5 million views on Instagram. If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely check it out. It’s one of my all-time favorite wedding moments, and hands down the best father-daughter dance I’ve ever witnessed.

Laughter, Love, and a Little Red Cup
From heartfelt to hilarious, the energy of this day was everything. Their group of friends brought the party with them—there was so much joy in every toast, every tear, and every dance move (yes, even the red cup dance). Everyone was there to celebrate love and let loose, and you could feel it from the first look to the final sunset kiss.
After dinner and dancing under the stars, we snuck away for some quiet time in the vines. Ashley and Greg walked hand-in-hand through the vineyard, kissed under the setting sun, and just soaked in the moment together. That’s when I captured some of my favorite portraits of the day—full of warmth, romance, and that glow that only comes from true connection.
