AN ELEGANT AND RUSTIC WEDDING
This day was a dream! It was really beautiful from a visual perspective and what really captivated me were the priceless moments between Cassandra and Daniel and their darling three year old daughter that were a constant through the day. There were so many moments throughout their celebration that I thought to myself “this is why I love my job!”
Their wedding took place at The Grace Maralyn Estate and Gardens and was an intimate day of celebration with family and friends. An elegant victorian house and rustic barn nestled in the foothills of Santa Margarita, just south of Paso Robles, their chic country themed barn wedding was relaxed and fun. Cassandra and Daniel exchanged vows beneath the reclaimed wood archway, promising the rest of their lives to each other in front of family and friends.
THE BRIDE WORE GORGEOUS LONG LACE SLEEVES
Cassandra was stunning in her open back princess style dress with long sleeves. I definitely have a special place in my heart for long sleeved gowns. It was really fu. To photograph it against the rustic barn the Grace marlin has as a dance floor and reception area- to even has it’s in built in photo booth. I for one adore open back dresses- its such an elegant classic look, and her off the shoulder lace neckline really added the romance.
As wedding venues on the California Central Coast go, the vintage house to get ready in can’t be beat and it’s super easy to take amazing bridal portraits there. Cassandra had a super sweet white vows book she spent time working on before there ceremony and photos of that moment were really special.
INCREDIBLE HILLTOP SUNSET WEDDING PHOTOS
The best part of their day as far as photos were concerned (because there were too many best parts to count!) was when we hopped into my car and drove up to the magnificent hilltop above their venue for epic sunset photos. The estate has an incredible huge old magnificent oak tree that stands at the top of the hill and from there you can see the hills of San Luis Obispo county for miles around. Its the most breath taking romantic spot for wedding phots on the central coast and if you know how to to time it just right for the sunset, the photos are absolutely epic. Tae a look at theirs as see why sneaking out for a short sunset romantic session during your wedding is so awesome to do.
Chic, elegant, vintage and rustic vibes- so much love between them and an incredible day to be a part of and capture.
